Avoiding Solar Panel Theft
In many rural communities where solar panels are installed there is great concern regarding the theft of photovoltaic systems, being an easy target for crime because they are held incommunicado in isolated and remote areas of the city safely.
Some of these may work to prevent the theft of solar panels:
Paste the panels with a sealant to the roof, which is not recommended, as replacing or maintaining them is basically impossible.
Integrate all panels thanks to a rack, thus will be very difficult for thieves to mobilize all the panels in a single structure.
Put an alarm that sounds when the panels are disconnected from the investor, this will alert the community and frighten the thief.
Have the panels are removable, so you’ll have to take them out and assemble every morning and keep them at night.
