Solar energy is one of the most impressive and readily available renewable energy sources, and has the potential to provide power to all kinds of artifacts.

Toyota has already begun to explore the potential of solar energy by announcing they will use solar panels for the next generation of its Prius hybrid car. While this car will only use solar energy to operate the air conditioning, some designers have shown that the manner in which cars can be fully supplied with solar energy.
