Thin Film Solar Panels

The solar panel manufacturers are solving the objections of homeowners on how a solar panel that will affect the view from home, making them virtually invisible on the roof.

Typical solar panels are 15 inches thick and clearly visible when mounted in its supporting structures. The thin film solar technology has enabled the panels to be integrated manner on flat or curved roofs. Installation costs are also reduced to not need large stands; the only thing so far is that its efficiency is not as high as the current solar panels.

As energy prices raise unchecked and environmental awareness increases, demand for clean, renewable energy is growing. According to the Association of American Solar Energy solar installations in Germany have grown 45% and have reached the 150 MW installed.

Reuters reports “In the U.S., the typical price of a system is $ 8 per watt, which is divided between the plant and the same panels. This means that you need to invest $ 40,000 to achieve a 5 kW of installed solar energy”
