Supply of Solar Energy to Rural Areas of Sambia

With the installation of solar panels in areas where the electricity fails, the Municipal Administration of Samba will supply energy to rural areas, as part of their energy supply program for the population.

The city administration informed through a press release that the project will be complemented by the assembly of more than twenty posts of photovoltaic conversion of solar energy in almost the entire length of the municipality where the community of the Island of Mussulo is a priority.

This is one of six areas of intervention as reflected in public investment projects of the institution by the year 2009, in the field of fund management support to 68 local authorities set up by the government since 2008.

They are also part of the Samba project of road rehabilitation and paving of the streets in all communities, construction of latrines and chafariz, rehabilitation of some schools and the creation of gardens and playgrounds.

The support fund for the management of the government aims to provide them with financial resources to resolve, quickly and effectively, urgent problems to improve the wellbeing of populations.
