Pictures Of The Vatican Solar Panels
Last week we discussed the solar gift the Vatican received of about 2,400 solar panels that will produce about 300 MW of solar power and that had a cost of close to 1.6 million dollars.
The roof of the Vatican will save an estimated 225 tons of CO2 a year. This project is part of the purpose of supplying the city with 20% renewable energy by 2020.
The following photos are from the roof of the Paul VI Audience Hall, situated next to the Basilica of San Pedro.
