Church in California installed 150 solar panels
The Lutheran church located in Cupertino, Calif., recently installed a system of 150 solar panels with the assistance of the company Akeena Solar. The panels will generate 34.000 kWh each year, and will save the church from 900 to $ 1,200 a month.
The new solar panels will also have the opportunity for children who attend the church to learn about solar energy.
According to Pastor Randy Pabst, this is only the beginning of the solar plans for the church, the congregation wants the number of panels to double or triple in the near future.
