Solar Tie

Throughout time we have seen various solar gadgets that help energize our daily life.

A group of researchers from Iowa State University have created a tie using the new solar fabrics. The good thing about this is that solar panels are arranged to have a visually appealing design.

They have a small bag in the back where you can put your cell phone or mp3 while charging with the sunlight reaching the tie.

The downside is that less and less people is using a tie, but for those who use it every day and spend long hours in the traffic, it seems to be a good accessory taking advantage of solar energy.
