Renewable Energies Skyscraper

In Dubai, they will construct another self sustainable solar and wind energy skyscraper.

The heke of Dubai goes at the top of designs related to renewable energies, with great projects of urbanization.

The idea of this immense building that will have a height of322 meters, the Burj al Taqa, or Energetics Tower, is that it will consume very little electricity and will be provided completely to start off from solar and wind energy.

Designed by the German engineers of DS-Plan with the help of architect Eckhard Gerber, the structure will count on wind turbines in the ceiling and two sectors of solar paddles with a total of 15 thousand meters square. Additional energy will be provided by an island of solar paddles of 17,000 m2, that will be in the sea, near the building. In addition, they glide to extract hydrogen of the water of sea with the excess of energy that will contribute the solar paddles during the day, thus to use hydrogen like energy reserve during the night.

In order to reduce power consumption, they designed it so that it is protected from solar heat, thus can cool during a warm day and be warmed up when it is cold. It has windows that make emptiness that prevents 2/3 less heat. The pipes that will take that air are very original, since they are transparent stops to let see the gardens that hang in its interior.

In this casecase, they used a Solar combination of Energy and Wind Energy.
