Solar Energy Will Be the Largest Source Of Energy In 30 Years

The entrepreneur founder of PayPal is now an ecological entrepreneur, Elon Musk predicts that in 30 years solar energy will be the most used energy source used in the U.S., and possibly in the world. Musk said in the Future in Review Conference (FiRe) in Coronado, Calif., this week, where leaders meet and discuss how the future of technology shall be. Musk said that by including thermal solar energy and photovoltaic, solar energy will generate more electricity than any other energy source, and most of this technology will be managed by the United States.

SolarCity is currently offering solar installations on rooftops without advance payments in certain cities. At the FiRe conference, Musk described along with the CEO Lyndon Rive of SolarCity, his plan as “You save money from day 1. Pay less for clean energy.
