Present And Future Of Solar Technology In Protosolar

This is the title of the paper, within the Congress on Solar Energy Expo PROTOSOLAR where Eduardo Zarza will be presenting. The current Head of Solar System Concentration CIEMAT will expose their research results at the Plataforma Solar de Almeria, the largest research, development and testing center of Europe devoted to solar concentration.

PhD in Industrial Engineering Eduardo Zarza Moya has an experience of over 20 years in the study of systems that use concentrated solar radiation. Author of several books and articles on the subject, its international recognition, has to be appointed as director of several international projects for R & D related to solar collectors and their applications through parabolic cylinder. He has also directed several courses and seminars related to solar energy.

Currently conducts its investigations in the Plataforma Solar de Almeria (PSA), a member of the Research Center for Energy, Environment and Technology (CIEMAT). The PSA has its activities as an integrated line of R & D within the structure of the Department of Renewable Energies of CIEMAT.

Dr. Zarza will present his paper in “Present and future of collectors technology,” the latest advances in the application of these technologies for the production of solar energy.

The Solar Energy Expo PROTOSOLAR Congress will take place September 17 and 18, 2008 at the Palacio de Congresos of Madrid.
