Solar Heaters for Social Houses
The homebuilders and the Mexican federal government signed an agreement which establishes that from 2011, all affordable housing and social interest houses that must have solar energy powered water heaters.
The builders will be supported with 15 thousand pesos per household to equip homes with solar water heaters, and for the installation of sprinklers and saving light bulbs.
Apart from receiving financial incentives for renewable facilities in the construction of new houses, they also have very attractive tax incentives, since according to Article 40 of the fraction XII ISR (Law of Income Tax), all taxpayers who invest in machinery or equipment for renewable energy may deduct 100% of the investment in one year.
The use of solar heaters also represents big savings for consumers as it can reduce gas consumption by up to 85%, which saves money and helps to counteract the effects of global warming. They are easy to install, reliable and 100% eco friendly, since they can reach temperatures of up to 90 degrees, so do not worry about having a hot bath.
