Flowerpots watered with Solar Energy

You may have a wide garden or a big terrace. Now, thanks to solar energy it is fashionable to have one of those light spots charged during the day with solar energy, enlightening with ambient lights during the night.

If you want to go further, a company named Patio Living Concepts created Solar GardenGlo. We are talking about 21 cm diameter and 20 cm tall flowerpots, made in transparent resin, promising 30,000 hours of light.

They have a separated solar unit, with enough power to light 6 LEDs inside the pot. The unit has an ON/OFF switch with automatic function during nights. The flowerpots may be piled up. As stated on their Website, they can be used with ice inside, to cool drinks, giving a very elegant touch when illuminated.
