Solar Cap
You sure remember those hats that had a hole in the visor which were ventilated with a small solar panel, very uncomfortable and ugly. The 2Clight solar energy cap has found a solution for so much more aesthetic photovoltaic solar energy hats.
Spend the day in the sun, while your nickel integrated battery recharges through a flexible solar panel placed on the visor of the cap. When the sun goes down and the night appears, press a small switch on the visor and two powerful LED’s will light your way.
The 2Clight Solar cap was 3 years in research and development before they could be sold commercially, and it seems to be very helpful for people who like to spend a lot of time outdoors. The LEDs are arranged in an angle that allows you to see up to two meters in front of you at night; while not blinding person in front of you.
The cap was designed in New Zealand, and so far its range is very small, it is sold online for about $ 35 and there are 3 designs available.
