Blue H launched a floating wind turbine
Blue H Technologies has just launched a prototype wind turbine submersible platform (SDP) that will scale anchored in water depths of 108 meters and at a distance of 10.6 nautical miles off the coast south of Italy.
The technology that uses this platform to develop the oil industry to its deep-water platforms, which will be capable of withstanding a wind turbine. The system allows to create very light platforms, which the company expects that the entire platform, turbine and other equipment not exceeding 800 tons.
The SPD may be armed on the coast and then moved up to 10 nautical miles into the sea and in depths greater than 50 meters, so the turbine will benefit from stronger winds and constant turbines off the coast.
